This session will show middle and high school teachers from all content areas how to use AI, namely Chatgpt and Magicschool.ai, to create activities/materials that can be used to support the new literacy standards. I will align the examples with the eight major components of the LIS which include selection of texts, comprehension, knowledge building, and writing. Not only will examples of teacher use be provided, but I will also integrate examples of how students can use it in the classroom.
